ALEME WAKO | ETHIOPIA
Loggerhead Coffee CO

Aleme Wako farms 11 acres located between Biloya town and Baya village. Over the years he noticed the local landrace varietals that he was growing were giving poor yield and more prone to disease and lower quality. After working with the Agricultural Bureau researching coffee agronomy, processing, and quality control Aleme decided to replace some of the old local landrace coffee varieties with improved–modern varieties which are known for their high yield, superior quality, and disease resistance. Aleme is among the hundreds of coffee farmers who work with G Broad to get services on agronomy, processing, certification, QC, marketing, export cleaning, logistics, financing, accounting, and documentation.
The Natural Process method used for this coffee accentuates some fruity tropical notes over a base of Black Currant and ripe Red Apple flavours. It's super aromatic and is a real winner on Filter or as longer pour espresso (1:2.5)
