KAGANDA AA | KENYALoggerhead Coffee CO
Growers from the Kaganda Farmers Co-Op Society bring their coffee to be processed at the Kaganda Coffee Factory situated in a valley within a Tea growing area located in Central Province. Here the coffee undergoes the wet processing method where the flesh of the coffee cherry is broken down by washing and pulping. After pulping the coffee is stored overnight then washed and soaked again before being spread onto drying tables, where it is turned frequently until it reaches the desired moisture content.
This coffee from Kaganda has great body and weight showing flavours of dark fruit, chocolate and spices along with some nice acidity. The AA grading of this coffee refers to the average size of the beans with AA being the largest. The larger beans produce a greater depth of flavour than the smaller beans.
