Growers from the MUTIRA Co-Op bring their coffee to be processed at the MUGAYA Coffee Factory. Here the coffee undergoes the wet processing method where the flesh of the coffee cherry is broken down by washing and pulping. After pulping the coffee is stored overnight then washed and soaked again before being spread onto drying tables, where it is turned frequently until it reaches the desired moisture content.

This Fair-trade and Rainforest Alliance coffee is grown amongst Macadamia trees at a high altitude which influences the clarity of flavours. It has a great body and weight displaying dark fruit and black tea along with some nice acidity. The AA grading of this coffee refers to the average size of the beans with AA being the largest. The larger beans seem to give a greater depth of flavour than the smaller beans.
