Onias Guerrero Quispe is a third generation producer and the proud owner of Tres Quebradas ("Three Rivers"). The farm is made up of two separate lots of 1 hectare each - El Toche (The Andean) + Los Cedros (The Cedars). His wife Ofilda and three children help him on the farm, where they also grow plantain, yuca, beans and corn as well as raising guinea pigs and chickens.

Currently Onias is growing Caturra, Pache, Typica, Bourbon and Catimor however he is slowly phasing out the Catimor trees in favour of varieties with greater cup potential. All of his production is organic, with the vast majority of his fertiliser coming from organic materials on the farm and manure from the animals on the farm. Today he is able to produce roughly 50 qq of parchment (~2750kg). His long term plan is to install a solar dryer on the farm, allowing him to further improve the quality and consistency of his coffees.

We are loving this coffee on espresso with a honey and cola sweetness, juicy plum and grape acidity. On filter we’re getting that same sweetness along with great body.
