Gahahe comes from the Kayanza highlands, where altitude and meticulous washing-station work create coffees with real precision. This is classic Burundi: clean structure, honeyed sweetness, and a bright, tea-like finish that keeps the cup feeling effortless and moreish.
Fully washed processing removes the fruit before drying, letting the inherent character of Red Bourbon shine with clarity. Expect golden raisin and dried stonefruit, balanced by brown sugar sweetness and a black-tea elegance. It’s a “slow down and notice the details” kind of coffee — refined, crisp, and quietly complex.
